The kswa demo farm is a hands-on learning space developed by Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA) to translate agricultural knowledge into practical, field-tested action.
At the KSWA krishishaala Demo Farm, we put best practices into play using low-cost, high-impact resources that deliver visible and measurable results. Every technique demonstrated here is designed to be practical, affordable, and easy for farmers to replicate with confidence on their own land. The focus is on what works on the ground, not just in theory. It is about marrying theory with real-world trials.
The farm also serves as a living classroom. Agriculture students get the opportunity to apply what they learn in real conditions, while school children are introduced to farming through observation, participation, and curiosity-led learning. By engaging early and practically, we help build respect for agriculture and a deeper understanding of food systems.
KSWA KrishiShaala also offers a meaningful space for corporate volunteers to reconnect with nature while contributing directly to communities around the demo farm. Through hands-on engagement, volunteers are able to support sustainable practices and causes that align with their organisation’s values.
For KSWA and Yuva Parivartan, kswa krishishaala the demo farm represents an important step in bridging training, innovation, and real-world adoption, creating a model of sustainable agriculture that can be learned, trusted, and scaled.
