KSWA Krishi Shaala offers a collaborative platform for local NGOs and grassroots organisations working in rural development, livelihoods, women empowerment, and sustainability.
Located near Mumbai, the demo farm functions as a shared learning and action space where NGOs can implement community-led programs focused on skilling, sustainable farming, and income generation. Through hands-on training and practical demonstrations, we support initiatives that help build a self-reliant rural India.
Key NGO Programs at the Demo Farm
Women & SHG-Led Skilling Programs
(Warli Art, Millet Processing, Basket Weaving) We work closely with NGOs to empower women and Self-Help Groups through skill-based livelihood programs. Participants receive hands-on training in Warli art, millet processing, and basket weaving, enabling them to start small enterprises and support household income.
Organic Farming & Government Certification Support
Farmers are trained in organic and eco-friendly farming practices that protect soil health and improve productivity. NGOs also receive guidance on helping farmers obtain official government certifications, increasing market access, income, and credibility.
Community-Led Training & Vertical Gardens
These programs bring villagers together to learn sustainable food production in small spaces. Through vertical garden demonstrations and collective activities, communities develop greener homes, food security, and stronger social bonds.
Additional Learning & Well-Being Activities
To complement livelihood programs, the demo farm also offers:
- Warli Art workshops
- Yoga sessions
These activities support cultural connection and community well-being.
Internship Opportunities for NGOs
NGOs and partner organisations can opt for 1 to 4-week internship programs focused on rural development, sustainability, and community engagement.
Certificates are provided upon successful completion.

Overnight Farm Stay (Optional): ₹300 per person
Meals:
